Westchester architect Michael McCann- residential architect
As an architect and builder, I am working on a lovely home in New Rochelle which used to belong to the famous acting duo of Peter Lind Hayes and Mary Healy. This imposing tutor sits adjacent to Pelham Country Club and overlooks the golf course in Westchester County on Mt. Tom Road. The house's driveway for 70 years exited onto a service road belonging to Pelham Country Club. The Club allowed the access but never formally gave an easement. The owners called me when the sale of the home wasn't progressing due to the hesitation by the buyer to purchase the home without a formal, legal easement. I drew plans redirecting the driveway so that the property can be entered from the public street and am having the new driveway modified. The house will not not have to use the access road of Pelham Country Club and the closing on the sale of the house can proceed shortly.
